SCREAMIN' JAY HAWKINSCow Fingers And Mosquito Pie - (1991)Cow Fingers and Mosquito Pie is a magically weird 19-song collection of the bizarre shouter's mid-'50s OKeh/Epic output, when he was at the height of his strange and terrifying vocal powers. In addition to the prerequisite "I Put a Spell on You," and the surreal rockers "Yellow Coat," "Hong Kong," "Alligator Wine," and "Little Demon"; there's the amusing "There's Something Wrong With You"; a previously unissued "You Ain't Foolin' Me"; and a deranged takeoff on the cowboy ditty "Take Me Back to My Boots and Saddle." And what Screamin' Jay Hawkins does to the formerly stately "I Love Paris," and "Orange Colored Sky" is truly indescribable!. http://www.mediafire.com/?zjwqintgitg
SCREAMIN' JAY HAWKINSFrenzy - (1982)Screamin' Jay Hawkins was a truly demented R&B shouter, as evidenced by the classic "I Put a Spell on You." It wasn't long before his camp schtick overshadowed his musical abilities, but for a brief while he had a certain warped genius. Most of these tracks were recorded for OKeh, and the 14-track compilation Frenzy contains most of the best of these recordings. Nothing ever quite touched "I Put a Spell on You," but the songs that came the closest are here. Frenzy may not be a comprehensive collection, but for anyone that wants more of the sound that made "I Put a Spell on You" a hit, this will suffice. http://www.mediafire.com/?ymw01du2yen
SCREAMIN' JAY HAWKINS& THE FUZZTONESLive - (1984)Following their fantastic 1984 live debut Leave Your Mind At Home, this EP gave yet another taste of the hard garage beat movement that was sweeping the nation during the 1980s. Among a plethora of singles and compilation appearances that year, this performance recorded at NYC's famous Irving Plaza venue backing up voodoo blues icon Screamin' Jay Hawkins only strengthened the 'Tones rep as the supreme rulers of the new garage beat.http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=300c8e89fa751bc395af63b7d44918aa9ea4bd00666107c0
