SNAKEFINGER
Greener Postures - (1980)

This is the peculiar and unique material of a cult guitarist extraordinaire. Each song is a quirky island in a sea of sonic oddity. The gamut on Greener Postures runs from the edgy depression ballad "Living in Vain" to "I Come From an Island" with an oppressive beat and stark message that could come from the Residents' The Mole Show. A listen to this album forces consideration of his immense contribution to the Residents' sound.

  1. MTV (year one)use to play "The Man In The Dark Sedan" video. It wasn't just regulated to late night. They would play Snakefinger in the middle of the day(sandwiched between Pat Benatar & REO Speedwagon). I doubt his death in '87 made MusicNews. This Lp along with "Chewing Hides The Sound" are must haves for any self respectin' Resident fan. Hey,Ditch Digger any chance you got another great Snakey CD "Live In Chicago"? Man,that one smokes! I only have the cassette. Thanks. Great site. Still miss OneDrink!!!!!
